A shout out to Blackberry Beads

I met Donna of Blackberry Beads at the Bead and Button Show a few weeks ago. Her work is seriously gorgeous, as you can see from the buttons above. In addition to lampwork, she also does metalwork and felting. I love her use of color and organic forms!

The worker raccoon

I have a new day job, so I've been neglecting the shinies as of late. Just let me get settled in at the new gig and new jewelry will follow!

Bead and Button Show is on!

So who's going to Bead and Button? Who's already there?

I'll be there lending an hand to my friends at McDuck Creations in the marketplace. Stop on by and check out Mary's terrific lampwork and findings at booth #207.

New items on Etsy

I just posted a number of steam-ish items that I had made for NakamaCon on my Etsy. It was a great con and there were some terrific artists and costumers at the event. My faux tintype charms went over quite well!

No new shiny bits are ready to unveil...YET. I did post a pair of wonderful vintage boots to my alternate Etsy account, though.

Nifty over-the-knee boots in a ladies' size 9

Almost there!

I finally got completely moved in to my new digs a little over a week ago, but between looking for a day job and being unexpectedly sick, I haven't quite gotten up and running with the shinies. Very soon, my sweets. Very soon!

NakamaCon!

*A bit of promo on behalf of Eric, Rebekah, and the rest of the Nakamacon crew*

Are you looking for something to do Memorial Day weekend? Do you enjoy steampunk/anthro/anime? Have you heard about Madison's newest fan convention?

(I'll be in the artist alley with Mocha, fiddling around with the shinies)
