Tesla experiment
I've started experimenting with creating faux tintypes to use in my work. Tesla here is a first attempt and I think that he turned out pretty well. There's a few things that I want to tweak on the process, but I'm very pleased with the results otherwise.
(...and yes, he was photographed against a backdrop of a volume of his own writings that I happened to have on hand. We're a geek household.)

Love it! Thank goodness there are geeks like us so that people like Tesla don't get completely forgotten!
ReplyDeleteYay for Tesla!! Nice work, and the use of his writings as a photo background is a nice touch :)
ReplyDeleteDitto Zypsiollia :)
ReplyDeleteLike "your" Tesla work ,he'll be glad to be involved in art I'm sure :D
Ok, sorry for the late response jasmina. I honestly can't believe anyone caught that! I decided to be very subtle about it and hint to it later in the series that perhaps Tesla became frustrated and disappeared into his own world. Wow, well done for catching that! I am almost speechless!
